Bourgeon

The "Bourgeon" line is characterized by its simple shape fused with expressions derived from the red earthenware material. There are marginal baked nuances, unevenness of a glaze and a white slip and iron in powder, which do look rustic and atmospheric. Available in two colors: White and Beige. Red earthen clay is layered with white powder-clay before the application of transparent or color glazes, called the Japanese "kohiki" technique. It results in "plumpy and soft" white or beige. The "Bourgeon" bowl blends in nicely with both Japanese and western style meals as well as the other styles of tableware items.
