Cornet

"Cornet" Plate features the antique-inspired decoration. The cornet-like bumpy corrugated relief is used beautifully on the large outer edge. Red earthen clay is covered with a layer of white-powder clay before transparent glazing, so called the Japanese "kohiki" technique. It results in a loving and soft impression as if a flower was blooming. Each piece is one of a kind because the way pinholes, iron in powder, marginal baked nuances occur varies from item to item.
