How about packing a variety of Japanese or other kinds of dishes into Ojyu (tiered food boxes)? Deeper colored glazes are used in order to highlight the arranged food. It has a subtle floral pattern inside, which is made by underglaze painting. The size is pretty moderate (not too big, not too small), so it can hold "Osechi" (Japanese traditional New Year's cuisine) for three to five servings. It sounds wonderful to take up using Ojyu to pack a variety of food on special occasions doesn't it?
